Dear UCA Family,

The first week of school has almost come to a close. Students have reconnected with friends they haven’t seen for several months. New friendships have been formed. The bustle of kids in the Ad Building and around campus is music to my ears. Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you land! Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. Psalm 100:1-2 NKJV. Every Friday morning, in the lobby of the Ad Building, we pray for specific people and events. This week we are praying for Sheila and Dennis Allison, Sidney Allison, and UCA Parents. If you are on campus, we would live to have you join us. If not, please pray with us where you are. This will be our prayer focus this coming week as well.

Sabbath Activities 
Sabbath School and Church will be led by ASB outdoors near the cafeteria. Our campus will have a dedication service, Sabbath afternoon at 2:30 pm in front of the Ad Building. Class Night is an event that truly sets the new school year. Meet on the field at 8:00 pm. Events are set to start at 8:15 pm. Masks are still required in groups of people while outside.

Lake Day
The annual Fall Picnic is scheduled for Tuesday, September 1 at Camp MiVoden. Volleyball, waterfront activities, and boating will be enjoyed by all. Masks are required while riding the bus and for those who are not actively participating in waterfront activities or in the water. Students are to meet on the plaza by the cafeteria at 8:30 am for worship. Buses load at 8:40 am to leave for Camp MiVoden.
