But now, thus says the Lord, and He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.” Isaiah 43:1-2 NKJV What an amazing promise. This coming week, we will be praying for the village students of UCA, Alice and Butch Huggard and their grown children, as well as Ted and Debbie McConnachie and their grown children. Please join us where you are in uplifting our staff, their families, and our students.

Upcoming Events 
Sabbath afternoon, students are invited to join Dean Hess and his team on a hike. Meet at 3:00 pm at the flagpole. Saturday night, UCA is hosting Chopped competition. Teams of 3 will compete in a cooking challenge to present the judges with delightful dishes that have incorporated food items from their dorm rooms as well as mystery ingredient(s). Five judges have been selected to compare the dishes based on taste, creativity, and utilization of the mystery ingredient(s). Event starts promptly as 7:00 pm in the cafeteria.
Spirit Week is happening on campus February 1-5. It’s one of the students’ favorite events.
