Dear UCA Family,

We hope your first week back from Christmas Break was good! This upcoming week is the last of second quarter, and January 21 marks the first day of Second Semester. Congratulations! You’re half way there.

Monday Morning Prayer Time
Every Monday morning, in the lobby of the ad building, we have our weekly prayer time at 8:00 a.m. If you are on campus, we would love to have you join us. If not, please pray for us wherever you are. This next Monday, January 14, we are praying for the senior boys and Charles & Lorna Hartman.

Spokane Chiefs Hockey Game
On January 12, our Saturday Night Activity is a trip to a Spokane Chiefs hockey game.  All are welcome, but seating is limited to one bus. Tickets are $7 per person and can be purchased in the girls’ dorm.  Tickets can be bought up until assembly this Friday, unless they sell out before that.

Student Week of Prayer Speaker Retreat
Please pray for the students that will be speaking for Student Week of Prayer (SWOP).  They are praying and studying together with their leaders this weekend in preparation for writing their talks.  They will return to campus on Sunday evening.  We pray that God will use them to impact the campus for His glory.

Ski Retreat
The ski retreat will be January 18-20, 2019.  Students will leave for the retreat after classes on Friday.  For more information, contact Sid Hardy at sid.hardy@ucaa.org.

Senior Recognition Weekend Talent Program
The auditions for the senior talent program that takes place during senior recognition weekend will be January 29.  Seniors, please be thinking about how you would like to participate.

Devotional Books
The devotional books that were written by UCA students are available for purchase in the Business Office for $10.  For more information, contact Michelle Melendy at michelle.melendy@ucaa.org.
