FRESHMAN RETREAT
The Freshmen will be leaving for their retreat after school on Friday, September 7.  Meet at the flagpole at 3:15 with all your gear and be ready for a fun weekend getting to know each other.  Freshmen will return to campus at approximately 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 9.  If you have questions about the retreat or would like to pick up your student at Yoke’s on the way back, please contact Joe Hess at joe.hess@ucaa.org or call him at (509) 245-3641.

BACKPACKING CLASS TRIP
The Backpacking Class will be leaving for their trip at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, September 7.  Meet at the flagpole.  Day students bring a sack lunch, and dorm students need to pack a lunch in the cafeteria at breakfast.  The class will return to UCA at approximately 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 9.  If you have questions about this trip, please contact Cindy Williams at cindy.williams@ucaa.org or (509) 245-3616.

SABBATH AFTERNOON ACTIVITY
The activity this Sabbath afternoon will be a hike, led by Mrs. Hagele.  Please meet at the flagpole at 2:30 p.m.

SENIOR SURVIVAL
The senior class will leave for Senior Survival on Sunday, September 9, at 11:00 a.m.  Seniors need to meet at the flagpole at 10:45 a.m. to load gear.  The seniors will return to campus at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Friday, September 14.  For questions about Senior Survival, contact Dean Kravig at dean.kravig@ucaa.org or (509) 245-3661.

ITED TESTING
ITED Testing is for Sophomores only and will be on Tuesday, September 11, and Wednesday, September 12.  Testing will go from 8:00-11:30 a.m. on both days.  Sophomores will meet all their afternoon appointments as scheduled. Freshmen and Juniors will attend their regularly scheduled classes on both testing days.

PALOUSE EQUESTRIAN CENTER
Students who wish to participate in riding at the Palouse Equestrian Center will need to have a Riding Release form signed by their parents.  Please see the “Documents” section of this post for a link to the form.  The signed form can be mailed to UCA at 3025 E. Spangle-Waverly Road, Spangle, WA 99031.  Or you may scan it and email it to our Equestrian Director, Jessica Garrett at jessica.garrett@ucaa.org. This form is also on our website.  Click on “Life at UCA,” then “Palouse Equestrian Center” to find it.

SCHOOL PICTURES
Our school picture day is October 9, 2018, instead of October 2 as listed on our calendar.  Please note this change, and watch for order forms and more information that will be mailed to you in the next couple of weeks.

COLLEGE FAIR
College Fair will be taking place on October 17, 2018 instead of September 19, 2018 as noted on our calendar.
