LAST DAY OF SCHOOL FOR FRESHMEN AND SOPHOMORES
Wednesday, June 1, is a regular day of school for Freshmen and Sophomores.
PARENTS OF FRESHMEN & SOPHOMORES
If your student has a Junior class, they have class on Thursday, June 2. Only Freshmen and Sophomores who do not have Junior classes are free to leave after their last appointment on Wednesday, June 1. Thursday, June 2, is a regular day of school but only morning classes meet.
When all of your student’s classes are finished (on either Wednesday or Thursday), and their work commitments are done, their room is packed up and cleaned, and they have checked out with the deans, they are free to leave. If you have any questions regarding this process, please contact the deans for more information.
PARENTS OF JUNIORS & SENIORS
The graduation weekend schedule is attached. This is the same schedule that has been sent in the mail to Junior and Senior parents. Please look it over carefully to help facilitate your student knowing where to be and when.

Attached is a blank order form from the photographer who will be taking the photos of your Senior receiving their diploma. TEXT & LIBRARY BOOK RETURN
See the attached flier for due dates. Parents, please encourage your student to stay with their books until the librarian has verified that they have returned all of their books. It is possible that they will return a textbook, thinking it is theirs, but the bar code shows that it is checked out to someone else. That will help their friend, but they will still be responsible for their own book.
STUDENT SUMMER JOBS
Is your student needing summer work? Summer jobs are available at UCA in several different areas, some for a few weeks and others all summer long. Student workers will need to have their own off-campus housing, as the dorms and cafeteria will not be available for their use. For more information, please contact Nancy Starr at (509) 245-3610 or nancy.starr@ucaa.org.
