Dear UCA Family,
“The Lord is good, a strength and stronghold in the day of trouble; He knows those who take refuge and trust in Him.” Nahum 1:7
THIS WEEK:
PARENT WEEKEND
Parent Weekend is almost here! If you are planning to join us, we look forward to seeing you this Friday. Attached is a schedule of events. If you are unable to attend Parent Weekend but would like to join in the celebration, we will be live-streaming Friday Vespers, Sabbath School, Church, and Amateur Hour. To view it, please go to www.ucaa.org/live. No password is needed.
AMATEUR HOUR TABLES AND SILENT AUCTION
Amateur Hour is this Saturday night! Remember, admission is FREE. There are a few tables left for purchase!!! This is your last chance to sit up near the stage and be pampered with service and food. We expect it to be a great performance, as our students are incredibly talented. Please also come hungry; we are selling snacks for concessions before and during the show. The cost is $60 per table and each table holds 6 people. If you need another chair or two, a table can accommodate up to 8 people for an extra $10 charge per chair. If you are not purchasing a table, you can still buy food before and during the program, including burgers, popcorn, drinks, and dessert.
We also have a Silent Auction going on during the program. If you would like to donate items for this fundraiser, we would very much appreciate donations including gift baskets, baked goods, and gift cards. If you own a business or work for a company that could donate items or services, we would appreciate that as well. We welcome Parent volunteers to help with the silent auction, concessions and preparing food. If you are interested in donating items for the silent auction or volunteering, please contact Stephanie Gladding at Stephanie.Gladding@ucaa.org or (509) 245-3636.
PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES
Parent-Teacher conferences will be held Sunday morning, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Teachers will be in the gym to talk with you about your student’s progress. No appointments are necessary. Parents are always welcome to contact teachers by phone or email if they have questions.

NEXT WEEK:
DAY STUDENTS – HOPE TASKFORCE
Hope Taskforce is Thursday, November 17. Please remember to check the Ad Building bulletin boards to see what project and what time you are signed up for. Parents of day students, if you would like your student to be picked up at Yoke’s, (former Trading Company Store) 4235 Cheney Spokane Rd. on Hwy 195, instead of having to drop them off at UCA, we need to hear from you prior to that day. Please contact Misa Barba, at (509) 245-3605 or misa.barba@ucaa.org.
Village students on the meal plan who need a lunch please sign up in the front office by Wednesday afternoon, November 16. Lunches will not be made for students whose names are not on the list. If you sign up, please pick up your sack lunch at the café on Thursday morning before you leave to go to your project, or ask a friend to bring it to you. Thanks for your help!
