Dear UCA Family,

SCHOOL PICTURES
Tomorrow is school picture day.  The photographer will be in the Power House from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.  Students need their picture taken to get a student ID card and no purchase is necessary. To purchase pictures please use the Dorian envelope and include payment to Dorian Studios.  We have more envelopes in the office should you need one.  Pictures may also be ordered online at www.DorianStudio.com if that is more convenient.

WWU FALL CLASSIC
UCA JV/Varsity Soccer and Volleyball will be going to Walla Walla University this Thursday to Sunday, October 5-8, to represent our school at Fall Classic.   Please check the WW University website for schedules and results.  Teams will leave UCA on Thursday at 7:30 a.m. and return on Sunday at around noon.  Please come and support our school if you happen to be in the area this weekend!

WEEK OF PRAYER
Week of Prayer begins Monday, October 9, and continues through Sabbath morning worship, October 14.  Our speaker is Jason Calvert, Youth Pastor of the Kettering Church and PERICHORESIS Ministries.  We will be using the Week of Prayer schedule, which is attached.  Please keep us in your prayers, that the Holy Spirit will fill our campus and be able to draw the students and staff closer to Him.

SENIOR PARENTS
Senior pictures for the yearbook and class composite were due September 25.   Two-week extensions must be requested by email at yearbook@ucaa.org.

Senior tributes are for the yearbook and they are optional.  Please let us know whether you would like to have one for your senior and we will make sure to reserve a space for you. They are due Monday, October 23.  If designing it yourself, please note the correct size from the senior tribute form attached and email your hi res pdf to yearbook@ucaa.org.  Let us know if you need help and we can design it for you.

In addition, four baby and grade school pictures are needed to include in the slideshow for Graduation Weekend.  These are also due Monday, October 23, and should be sent to seniors@ucaa.org.  Thank you for keeping in mind UCA standards and dress code.

PSAT – Juniors
All juniors are required to take the PSAT on Wednesday, October 25.  The test begins at 8:00 a.m. and finishes around noon.  Students will be expected to attend all appointments after testing time.  All 7:35 classes for juniors will not meet.

TECHNICARTS FAIR
Invite young students to try something new at our TechnicArts Fair 2017 on Thursday, October 26, from 10 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.  This is designed for children grades 7 and up.  Register online at www.ucaa.org/technicarts from October 1, 2017.  For more information, call Shelley Bacon at (509) 245-3680.
