Dear UCA Family,

Friday Morning Prayer

Every Friday morning at 8:00 a.m., in the lobby of the Ad Building, we get together to pray for specific people and events. This week we are praying for Debra Backland, our keyboard teacher, and Doug Brant, our guitar teacher, and the Fox Concert. We also remember the parents and families of our students. If you are on campus, we would love to have you join us. If not, please pray with us wherever you are. This will be our prayer focus the coming week, as well.

Sabbath Activities 

Sabbath is Advisee Lunch. This is where village and dorm students are invited over to their faculty adviser’s home for Sabbath lunch. Students will meet up with their faculty family immediately following church. Dorms will be closed until 2:00 p.m.

Saturday Night Activity at UCA

On campus, the ASB will be showing a Christmas movie in the chapel of the Girl’s Dorm, starting at 6:15 p.m. After the movie, the gym will be open till 9:00 p.m. Village students are encouraged to join in the fun.

This Week in UCA Lions 

Fox Concert

The Fox Concert is our annual Christmas concert, and is our free gift to the Spokane community. The Martin Woldson Fox Theater is one of the most beautiful venues in Spokane, and this is a great time to invite your friends and family and enjoy an wonderful evening. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 19. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. Come early to get your seat and enjoy some pre-concert music by Upper Columbia Academy Elementary School students.
Transportation will be provided to the Fox Theater for all music students and any other students who wish to attend. If you will be picking up your student after the concert, they will need to bring their luggage with them to the concert. Students involved in music will be free to leave when equipment has been loaded into the truck and they are dismissed by their music teachers. Students not involved in music are free to leave for Christmas break after checking out with the deans at the end of the concert.
