ACADEMY DAY
If you know a student who should become part of the UCA family, please tell them about Academy Day.  This special day is this Thursday, April 6, and it’s a time when any student, whether they are currently attending a junior academy, public school, or home school, can experience life at UCA.  Registration is at 9:00 a.m. in the gym, and the activities will end around 3:30 p.m.  For more information, contact Shelley Bacon at (509) 675-5003, or at shelley.bacon@ucaa.org.

ACADEMY DAY SCHEDULE REMINDER
Thursday, April 6, is Academy Day.  It will be a FRIDAY SCHEDULE for morning classes, and afternoon classes will not meet.  Cafeteria and dorm workers will work their regular hours.  Please check with your supervisor to know when you need to work.  All students are required to attend the assembly in the afternoon.  The Friday schedule for morning classes is attached.

ASB SPRING PARTY
The ASB Spring Party is this Sunday, April 9. The activities will begin at 3:30 in the gym, followed by a special meal in the Old Cafe.  The theme for the party is “MASH” (Mobile Army Surgical Hospital), and all students are encouraged to dress up in army or medical costumes on that day.  Please make sure all costumes comply with dress code policy.  Thank you!

GYMNASTICS TOUR
Gymnastics will be on tour Wednesday to Saturday, April 12-15.  They will leave at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, and return around midnight on Saturday.  If you happen to be in the area, please join us to support our students!  The schedule is attached for your convenience.

BAND/CHORALIERS/ORCHESTRA TOUR
Our music groups will be on tour Wednesday to Sunday, April 12-16.  Come join us if you are in the neighborhood, and enjoy their talents!  Please see schedule of performances attached.

STUDENTS IN HIS SERVICE SCHOLARSHIP
The Upper Columbia Conference is pleased to announce that the Students In His Service Scholarship will be available again this summer.  The Students In His Service guidelines and brochure are attached.  Applications are available online until May 15 at http://uccsda.org/education.
